HVLS FANS

HIGH VOLUME LOW SPEED Fans

What are High Volume Low speed fans used for?

High Volume Low Speed (HVLS) fans can mobilize and de-stratify large volumes of air in any facility. This enables HVAC systems to operate more efficiently while optimizing comfort and health in unconditioned environments.

  • De-stratification
  • Move large amount of air
  • Maintain constant temperatures
  • Improve worker comfort all year round
  • Safer working conditions
  • Circulate air from ceiling/roof to floor
  • Circulate air up and over obstructions
  • Promotes healthier air quality
  • Reduces bacteria
  • Reduces heat stress

Features of HVLS fans

HVLS fans are large industrial fans that measure from 1.5M to 7M. These fans are meant to circulate a large amount of air by using air streams. Air is pulled from above the fan and pushed down in a conical shape to the floor below. In winter the aluminium aerofoils can be used to move large volumes of heated air trapped in the roof, above the fans downward towards the floor for better circulation and even temperatures all winter.

FEATURES OF HVLS FANS:
  • Fully reversable with the use of frequency drive
  • Used within summer and winter
  • Ventilates large spaces
  • Variable mounting heights
  • Variable speed controlled by frequency inverter
  • Stable aerofoil shaped blades
  • Robust aluminium blades
  • Large diameter fans 1.5 Meters to 7 Meters
  • Air streams circulation
  • Conical shaped airflow patterns
HIGH VOLUME LOW SPEED FANS
  • Airflow capacity from 219,000m³/h up to 485,000m³/h
  • Electric motor 1.1kW and 1.5kW

Your Investment:

HVLS fans are an effective solution to your ventilation and air quality pitfalls. They will lower your high heating and cooling expenses, decrease your energy consumption and create a comfortable working environment for your employees. Which will increase their productivity levels and fulfill the need for better ventilation.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standard indicate temperatures of 38°C and above are dangerous for workers, and air temperatures that exceed 35°C significantly increase the heat load on the body.

Benefits of HVLS fans:

  • Increased worker output and productivity
  • Highly energy efficient
  • Corner to corner cooling
  • Reduces the risk of condensation
  • Boost air quality
  • Improve worker comfort all year round
  • Greater cooling in summer
  • Recirculate heat in winter
  • Safer working conditions
  • Decrease in worker error rate
  • Low noise levels 48dBm
  • Limited maintenance
  • Low initial capital
